Every Friday, farmers from Pune set up stalls on the street that is the subject and object of my idle observations. Monsoon has been especially vibrant, and my window serves as an ideal voyeurism base; so I couldn’t resist documenting a few of the infinite patterns that crowd the streets of Bombay from June to August every year (and in May to serve an entirely opposite purpose, of course).

It irks me if the order of my photographs do not follow logic or coherence. While that is perfectly unnecessary for this series, I did indulge myself and come up with a pattern*. Maybe you could try and spot it?
Happy weekend to you,
Janani

*One of the outfit colours of the person in the first image is same as the colour of the umbrella in the next image, and so on. Call me unreasonably imaginative, but it’s a little like the colours are trickling down from one photograph to the next. Buut it is quite vague (okay very vague), so I’m sorry if you wracked your brain too hard.
how are you so creative ; love this so much! look forward to your newsletters so much!
There's something about the way in which the fifth photo is framed. So angular yet flowy. Fav.
